I rarely like re-mixes or edits of songs (With the exception of the MOS Underworld version which is amazing, in my opinion), but this one is OK I guess....I still prefer the original. I feel like this one sounds "rushed" because I'm used to it being so much slower. I kind of like some of the new stuff going on in the background but I really love Ev's slow ballads so I think the original is still my favorite. It's just such a beautiful song. I REALLY wish we could have a video! :/

^ We will in a matter of months. The tour ends in November, right? So maybe we will get LiP for Christmas.

I don't hate the radio edit. But I don't like it either. ...It's not bad, really. But I don't think it sounds like something Ev would ever make.

I like the radio edit...just not as much as the actual album version. It feels as if Evanescence is being pushed to change their sound for the general public to widen their fanbase. The radio edit has a defining techno, almost dubstep feel...which is defiantly a popular sound today. I mean, Wind Up had "New Way to Bleed" and "Made of Stone" remixed for the Avenger's and Underworld soundtracks to appeal to the general public...now this.

I think the beat sounds more RnB-ish. I really doubt Wind-Up would release a video when the era i 'over'. They wouldn't make any profit of it then :/ but you can dream :3

Don't forget the Elder Jepson Remix of WYW that is supposed to be dubstep.

I can't feel the song's feeling anymore, the remix is okay, but not totally okay. LOL! Btw, I loved the MoS and ANWTB remixes, they both sound cool (especially MoS, cause it sounds almost like the original version of it, like Amy said). AAH, my english is too bad, that's why it's hard to explain what I meant. That's what I really want to say, but it sounds weird: The remix "deleted" the song's feeling.

People saying that there won't be a video just seem to have started it by whining 'where is the video', there's no proof that there won't be a video.

Evanescence's songs are good enough to appeal to the general public (Or even more than enough). I can imagine the album version of New Way To Bleed being played in the middle of The Avengers movie & Made of Stone in Underworld Awakening. Dear Wind-Up, stop making remixes for Ev songs! The originals are masterpieces

I'm a little late on this, but I'd just like to say that I don't like the new version. The whole feeling of the song is lost for me and it sounds incredibly rushed.
I know radios wouldn't play the 4:40 long song but it's not like they are going to play this.
It really pisses me of that the songs have to be butchered for radio when we listened to those interviews in the begining where Amy talked about maybe bringing rock back with the new album (it probably pisses the band of too).
If the video does happen, I hope they use the album version (they "sort of" did with MHIB and it also had a radio edit).

I don't like it. It's awful. I really don't hope this will get played. Then everyone will think that Ev is a crappy pop band.

They played the radio-edit on Kerrang! radio. So yeah people are going to think that Ev are a pop band. -.- & Amy's voice sounds edited too, I don't like that.
