I'm pretty sure it's getting a video...come on guys, just because there isn't any news, doesn't mean it's not possible anymore.

Am I the only one who thinks that Amy's words are being twisted here? All she said in that interview was that it wasn't true about a video being filmed in the Brazil tour, we don't know either way if there will be a video or not right now.

That is exactly what I'm thinking! I don't trust the media...but I do trust what Evanescence has to say about their own thing.

MESS. What's the point of this? They're about to wrap this album cycle, I'm pretty sure the video is cancelled, and they come up with a single and radio edit that they sure as hell are not gonna be promoting? I used to kinda defend Wind-Up, even though they clearly weren't as invested with Ev as they should. After all this is a rock band we're talking about, not some sellout sh*t that gives LP teas, and we all know rock bands are in the pits right now. But this is just getting ridiculous. I guess it's their loss, because after all this mess there's no way Amy is gonna renew her contract with them. If she were I would start thinking she hit her head real hard and now has some kind of contusion. LOL, true. I hope they sign to another label. Amy is clearly unsatisfied with wind up. I really hope they go away from W-U for good, this is not working anymore. People at W-U are weird, though, not just for leaving their biggest act so alone in terms of promotion, but also for rejecting the more electronic Lillywhite sessions and now editing Ev's singles to make them more electro and ear catchy so they appeal to a wider audience. Sometimes i wonder in what situation would the band be now if they had released their original idea as the third album, instead of reworking it and adding new songs. Because a more electronish vibe is what the label seems to go for, but they rejected the electro sessions and then allowed the band to record their heaviest record yet?? Maybe those Lillywhite sessions were electronish but not catchy/digestible enough? I don't understand them.

^i don't think we're getting one anymore, Amy avoided the subject in an interview and said oh it's just a rumor they are filming it on their break, we think it has to do with the label:( The question was about if it were true they were filming the video during their time in Brazil and Amy said they were focusing on the tour and making it half work and half vacation.

Yeah, but notice she never said ANYTHING about it either ... If they had plans, she would have at least said "yeah, we'll be working on it sometime after tour." but nothing. Im not going to be hopeful or else I'll just be disappointed if it doesn't happen.

I hate to say this but I don't think we're gonna get a LIP video If the album tour is nearly over then I don't see the record label bothering to keep the promo going. I hope to god though that the band manage to pull something out the bag for the song. Plus if you think about it the LIP lyrics video came out AGES ago. Guys we seriously need to spam Amy/Band with twits asking if there is actually gonna be one.

Guys, I don't think it's a good idea to spam Amy or the other members of the band about the video.

Well this was a surprise. Didn't expect a totally different radio edit like this. Though it seems pretty pointless seeing as how the single isn't being promoted at all. Total mess.
I'm conflicted about this edit. There are some elements I like, that help pick up the song, but others just sound out of place. I'm not huge on the original song anyway, so I doubt I'll really listen to this version.
As for the video, I've got to agree with a lot of other people in thinking that it's not happening. It's just too late. Tour is almost over, era is almost over. If it were made, it would be purely for us fans, and I doubt Wind-Up is willing to spend the money for that. I'm super disappointed that we only got 2 videos for this album, one of which I really disliked (MHIB).
I read a few other people say somewhere around here that they wonder if maybe Wind-Up scratched the video and doesn't seem to care about promotion anymore because perhaps Ev didn't renew their contract. Maybe it's become obvious that Ev and Amy are going to look for a new label, so Wind-Up doesn't want to spend any extra money or resources on promoting them. I sincerely hope this is the case. I don't think Ev will ever be a popular, mainstream band again, likely not even with rock audiences. If that's the case, I want them to at least be on a label that will give them more creative freedom. And perhaps one that even understands what kind of audience to market them to.

I agree on your points about the label. However, I'm not going to accept that there won't be a video until I see official news on Twitter "there is no Lost in Paradise video" for either the Evanescence account or Amy.

I can only hope we'd get some official word if it's cancelled. It'd be kinda awkward for Amy or the Ev twitter to make an announcement about a video not being made. Wouldn't be surprised if they just don't say anything about it at all. If anything, I could maybe see one of the guys letting us know there won't be a video if fans keep asking them about it.

I'm kinda wondering if they had plans to do the video but they didn't work out for some reason, and maybe they have had to make new plans for just after the tour, and are still organising these plans. Amy did say she wanted LiP to get the attention it deserves. At what point was the Good Enough video filmed? Had they finished touring for TOD at that point?

At what point was the Good Enough video filmed? Had they finished touring for TOD at that point? The video was recorded July 11 - July 14 and officially premiered September 10, according to EvRef. TOD tour ended on December 8.

What's taking so long for the video? Isn't it just editing clips? You could make a youtube video in 4-5 hours. I know this is no youtube fangirl/fanboy video, but I'm wishfully thinking it'd be awesome if they where secretly filming a video, but still using the fan clips too.
Basically like Flyleaf's video for New Horizon!
