^ Stole the words right out of my mouth. But yeah, what she said!

Lockdown is so powerful. I have severe anxiety, it got so bad at one point I didnt leave my room or house for 2 weeks. So when I heard this song, I just broke down. Especially the lyric, "I can't face the world.", it's like she took the words right out of my mouth, with every word in that song for that matter. It's so poetic and beautiful.

I keep expecting Amy to sing "...on the words as they writhe in me" rather than "rise". Lol. I'm still getting used to the vibrato, but that chorus keeps bringing me back. When everything goes quiet and Amy's voice starts soaring, I feel this rush of excitement come up from the pit of my stomach, and that's why I keep listening.

For me it's something completely different. It's very much about my dad's death and how I just can't talk about it and bite my tongue. I love this song so much.

Music and their lyrics are a universal language, whether a song means one thing one listener than another, and it can still be equally emotional for both listeners. Lockdown is an amazing example of that.

I can imagine with Evanescence having such a gay following that this song will also relate to those unable to come out.

For me it feels like a more emotional version of made of stone. Just connecting with a song so emotional is so beautiful! I haven't had that in a while! I hope we get a video of some sort for it. There was talk about a video for aftermath

I originally thought this was very Evanescence, but Amy does so many things that would never happen in Ev. Music is far more than just sound. And this song is amazing.

During the part where Amy sings the line "Say the word" for the third time, it sounded like there's a choir behind her, with that being said a choir would have been amazing.

I love that song doesnt follow typical structure like verse chorus verse chorus... i also love the breakdown in the first chorus, i feel it gives the song a complete different vibe compared to the versus! and the vocals... wow... i would love to see her perform this live!

"Say the words I can’t face the world If I could say the words Everything would be broken still"
This rings true for me >.< I think I'm going to make some sigs with those words now.

I like this song so much, singing along to the chorus is so much fun. (I'm sure my neighbours disagree, lol )
