I think it's my favorite interview of the year so far because they didn't try to ask Amy questions about Synthesis (everything she has to say about this project has been said many times) but posed very cool and random questions. And she provided a lot of info about herself we didn't know. She also got to reflect on a lot of things that aren't usually brought up.
Like, how else would you know she loves The Crown? And so on.

Also how come it met Amy at ther label's office? I thought she was independant? She doesn't have a label on top to tell her what to write and release anymore but there are still people responsible for distribution, organising events, etc. Seeing where the VIP emails come from, my guess is that it was WMG's office. As for the other thing, I'd say it's an attempt at a joke that no nu metal fans will find funny. Still, the interview is good.

The response to the Xfactor question made me laugh. Classic Amy.

There's an interesting atmosphere in such interviews. they are a reminder of how Amy Lee of Evanescence, The Queen of Rock, that cool woman and fantastic musician with thousands of fans around the world that I always considered as one of my main role models, has had such a simple life as a kid, a 13 years old teenager, or a student who had to stay awake all night and study. it makes me adore and relate to her even more. she has lived and is living like all of us (in her personal life). she has experienced the problem we all had at such ages too... This is cool imo...

Yeah, this interview was really cool. I'm with you princeofpersia - it's kind of comforting to know we've had similar experiences to someone we admire. I also cry all the time, which I often think is an extremely annoying trait of mine, but the fact that Amy does it too makes it cute. XD I remember her mentioning that before. Plus, I can see what she's saying about the transition from public to private school. I was in a public school system my whole life but am currently in a private university. It took me a couple years to see it, and even though that's the case for several others, I'm a little bit different from everyone else there. Granted, Amy talked about the way she dressed, but in my case, I speak and behave differently, and it's just become fairly obvious that a number of people there don't like me that much. *shrugs* And Jesus Lord - I had no idea her brother's epilepsy was so severe. That sounds so scary.

^ Yeah, my brother had epilepsy too when he was younger. it was like every 2-3 months and only at nights and even that was so scary for us. but 90 times a day is just horrible! OO it must have been really hard for her and her family.

This was a unique and interesting interview. Glad we got to read some new stuff instead of the same question and answers we've heard 20 times before.

AWESOME interview! Thanks for sharing.
Amy seems like one of those people you could sit down with and tell her all your problems and she'd make you feel understood and less alone.
