Yeah, I'm not thrilled with this clip either. It sounds pretty generic :/
Does the song sound awkwardly spliced halfway through for anyone else? That may just be for this PSA but I'm kind of worried ngl

I'm not upset by this but I'm not super thrilled either. I personally need music to be a distraction from politics so this makes my heart sink a little. I'm hoping whatever gets put out musically will still be relatable outside of a political message. Agreed 100%

Funny ! I've had Appeal to Reason by Rise Against on repeat for a few weeks now. This sounds a lot like them. I'm definitely interested to see how well Ev do with politically charged songs.

I'm loving that they're getting political. Although is this going to be on TBT? I thought it was for a comic book It's gonna be on TBT. and it's written based on a comic book by Eric Howell. the director of Voice from The Stone and Speak To Me. Apparently he's even directed the music video in Nashville.
Loving the political approach aswell, so glad they are working with this director for this clip. It is coming out 2 days after my birthday❤️

Amy said she would release a single every 2 months, if she is going to release her third single before the deadline, it could be a sign that the album is going to be released this year.

I really hope for something that is 'beyond the band' or 'Amy' with this video, kinda like the first 2 mins of Imperfection video.

^I must confess that the first teaser of this song was a big 'meh' to me - sounded like a Pepsi commercial. However, I have much more respect to the song now after the IG video. Not only I love how many great ladies are featured, but also the song itself sounds more interesting. Amy's vocal work is insade in this clip! Was just about to comment this. That Pepsi commercial thought came into my head or thinking that 30 Seconds to Mars had done this in a better way. I'm excited! And LOVEEE that she included so many ladies on this.

I do think it has some cross-over potential and I like this new preview a LOT more. But regardless it's a very ambitious thing to do and having so many names can only help the song out.

That new clip of the song is amazing! “DONT YOU SPEAK FOR ME!!” - love that part so much!

Definitely understand the fear that many have about this being a political song from an historically apolitical band, but I feel as though lyrically at least it'll have much of Ev's typical ambiguity. "Don't you speak for me" at the very least could be applied to any situation where one feels silenced by someone claiming to speak on their behalf. It has the potential to go far beyond politics, but can equally be applied to politics if so desired. Will be interesting to hear it in full.
Edit: I've noticed that they've brought on a load of famous female musicians to sing on this too. It'd be interesting if one reading of those lyrics has to do with Amy's experience in the music industry and not being taken seriously at times owing to her being a woman. Perhaps this could be a somewhat feminist/shared female experience type song as well.
